HOW TO SUBMIT A RESOLUTION
Delegates MUST bring their resolution on Memory Stick or email
(1) | Delegates place their resolution onto the school system. Delegates use CD, Memory Stick or e-mail to place resolution onto the school system. (Note: Most RRS computers no longer take floppy disks). Once they have logged onto theRoyalRussellSchool system they will see a MUN RESOLUTION FOLDER on the screen. They should open the folder, copy their resolution into the folder and save it using the following name:Country Name, Committee Name, Topic Lettereg: Iran, Human Rights 1, A Thailand, Disarmament, C

(2) | Lobbying Delegates can lobby their resolution after they have placed the resolution on the school system. They should collect Co-Submitters sheets from their committee (available from 3.00pm on Saturday). Delegates should collect between 7 and 9 signatures (from a least 4 different schools) and bring the Co-Submitters sheet and one copy of their resolution to the “NEW” Approval Panel room. Resolutions and Co-Submitters sheets should be clearly marked with SAVED name on the computer.NOTE: Resolutions must not be submitted until the resolution has been placed on the school system. |
(3) | Approval Once delegates have handed in their resolutions they can relax. The approval panel will either approve or reject the resolution. Delegates can check the MUN APPROVE Folder and MUN REJECT Folder on the school system where the resolutions will appear once they have been checked.NOTE: Rejected resolutions can be re-submitted once the changes recommended by the approval panel have been made. |
