29 Royal Russell students have made a great start to the THIMUN conference in the Hague. The students flew out on Sunday 26th Jan 2014 and after a half day in Amsterdam visiting Anne Frank’s House they moved on to the Hague. On Monday the delegates were busy lobbying and many later co-submitted their resolutions. On Tuesday Oleg, Tola, David, Lucy, Georgia and Ella made their opening speeches to the General Assembly or their Commissions. Since then the delegates have been busy debating resolutions. Meanwhile Sultan has been very active as Co-President of the ICJ and both Michelle and Barty have been in action chairing their committees. Tom has already co-edited three editions of the THIMUN newspaper with Ffion taking photographs. It was great to see her picture on the front page of the third edition! After two and a half busy days the students have had an afternoon break and some went to visit the Escher museum.
